3 days until my first marathon, so let’s take a look back at my first 5k, the 2011 NHL All-Star Game 5k in Raleigh, NC. I finished in 34:42 and started my first 5k / 10k training plan shortly thereafter. The race featured mascots from all of the NHL teams cheering everyone on and Stormy (Carolina Hurricane’s mascot) leading the pack off the starting line.
